Too much high pressure salemanship, I found that I was adrift in complexity, passed from one agent to another, then back to the first agent, during difficulties with download. DD downloaded and installed drivers I did not need but failed to download the single driver that I was seeking.
End result, a computer that refused to boot-up after a restart from cold. After all other efforts had failed, I had to use my computer manufacturer's system recovery process from their recovery disk set, the recovery process ended with a full system restore from my external back-up hard drive using a restore point just previous to the DD downloads and installation. Hence all downloaded software from DD was cleaned out of the system; which has responded by booting-up faultlessly ever since!. To add insult to injury DD appears to be steadfastly refusing to honor their publisized warranty of 'your money back if you are not satisfied with our service'.
