Reimage saved my PC
My computer was so screwed up it would barely connect to the internet, then freeze. I read about Reimage and gave it a try. Even with a bad connection it saved the CPU from the trash bin. It took several hours, but the result was well worth it. My PC ran as fast or faster than when new. After two years of running well I had the same issues again and purchased another one year of reimage service. Presto, all repairs completed online in a few hours, and now windows system again works like new.
I would recommend to any family member or friend. No scam here, Reimage has twice rectified any and all issues with my PC.
Worked wonders on XP and Windows 7 but beware of support
This has solved many problems over the years, I have used it on a couple of generations of computers and Windows, and have come to depend upon it. However, one time, when it stopped in mid stride, I contacted support. Ended up speaking from someone in India or Bangladesh. Came on to my computer and called up a log of all errors that had occurred over the past couple of years, all of which had been corrected in the past. Told me that he could "correct" them for a fee in excess of $100. I terminated the call and restarted the program in safe-mode. It ran fine and corrected any problems that had existed. I just bought a new Windows 10 computer and decided to check reviews before installing Re Image and was amazed to see all the negative review. I would say that the program is a world beater but stay away from Tech Support. I note that MalWare picks out anything to do with Re Image as bad stuff. I don't know why,
worked good for my malware problem
took all nite on my older computer while installing but runs great now worth every penny thanks again
Solved many problems
The first scan and repair takes a long time. Future runs are faster. All software and programs run faster, with no problems.
It would appear that it works best with a fast high end computer with a fast internet connection. I can't comment on support as I haven't required any. As to price, although it may seem high, I would suggest you get what you pay for and it appears a lot of work goes into designing and maintaining this software.
Reimage software review
It did not work at ALL!!! You will never get your money back!
Fixed Blue Screen of Death Problem
I am a home / small business user.
Our computer had started to crash and the blue screen of death and error codes occurred frequently for an unknown reason.
I purchased Reimage softtware.
After the first scan....it was necessary to run Reimage in safe mode as instructed.
The software identified the damaged files and replaced them.
My computer is functioning perfectly for many months now without any problems.
I will renew the yearly subscription no bother and am glad to have such a programme available.
I would recommend Reimage highly.
I can't say enough about this program. My computer had been infected with something. I was getting script errors every few seconds. I did all the fixes I read about, but none worked. Then windows crashed. I purchased this program after I read it replaced damaged files as mine could not be repaired. I ran the program and left my computer on all night as it after 1 am and I was in a panic.
This program repaired my computer and now it is running like new. I am running IE10 and Windows 7 Home. If you are experiencing the above type problems, then buy it. I am one satisfied customer. I just knew I would have to spend a couple hundred to fix it. Thanks so much for a great product.
Also, I had to email support and the tech took care of my problem right away and was so polite and professional.
this is this best kit ever
never ever have I had any problems with this kit. it always produces a great result in repairing my computer. I will always purchase this kit !
I don't appreciate my computer being taken over. I was considering buying your product but when you hijacked my browser, I cannot get rid of you fast enough.
If you have a good program, why do you have to be involved with deceptive activities.
Not for the novice but works well.
We had a pc that was seriously infected and also had a bad HD. After replacing the HD and imaging system over, we were able to cleanup all. After all that work the only windows 7 feature that was not working(and it is very important) was windows update service.
Not wanting to be beat by this we tried, in vain, for days to repair this. As a Microsoft partner company no help from them was able to resolve the issue. In desperation we tried reImagePlus and to our amazement it fixed all.
I somehow contracted that nasty virus Live Security Platinum and was afraid that I would have to buy another computer. I accidentally got the virus when I went into a job finders site and somehow it was too late to click out of the screen after my computer warned me a a dangerous download. I tried all that I knew and could not uninstall. I even tried pressing the windows box and letter R simutaneously and pressing F8 right before the computer started downloading in the safe mode. Out of desperation (four days later) I tried this download and it has been sheer bliss. No sign of the virus. Please beware of the virus mentioned above. I was almost in tears. Thank u Lord for this program. I even called their tech support and they stated they could remove by remote for approx 90 dollars, but I was able to remove by self for free!!!! This software rocks.
Great Product, it may take several passes over time but you will get everything fixed and up to date. All the windows installs are done for you and it will dump the ones that won't work and continue to finish. Then the next time you run it it will try the bad install again and get it to fit. It never gives up until it gets it all done, but at your pace. Highly recommend it for a clutz like me.
my windows 7 was completly messed up, corrupted files user account corrupted , things not working or never working.
I tried first with hp tech support but they were useless trying to sell me a new computer or telling me to go back to vista
or reload win7 disk. Then they told me to contact my local tech to fix it. I tried Reimage. They helped me after I ran the program and worked for hrs remotly to to fix this messed up computer. They are wonderful and really care about your computer. My computer workes better now than when it was new. I cannot believe that everything is working so good and I am completly thrilled with the Reimage program. I recommend it highly and will always use it.
Best registry cleaner
have been using reimage for about 3 months, it does great job.
Have yet to get a confirmation on my order. Can you please advise. Thank you, Thomas Kessler
I found the service via Google. After reading reviews I deducted it's not a spam. I paid for one year license. The license key was sent to me via email however I did not immediately see where to type it. I called the Support number and spent 30 minutes listening to the support person explaining why my laptop was not working efficiently and she explained in a long way that an upgrade to the 5-Year license is beneficial. This was the only disappointing bit as it felt like a hard sell. The lady was insistent on making me understand that I need the upgrade. I turned out I did not need to talk to the support at all. Putting in the licence key fixed my laptop issue automatically. I may have other issues later on and I wanted to have the option to decide on an upgrade at a reasonable time later.
Reimage may be good for most things. However, it does nothing to correct u bad User File Problem. Talked ot a Rep on line and they said they did not see my purchase, even though it is on My Charge Card??
Then I was told I would have to pay a sepatate fee to use the online service!! That certainly got my attention!
If the program could fix this User File problem it would be good. The fixing of the Stack is a good feature however
That stll leaves me unhappy with there service to help my problem.
don't buy it
I paid 199.00 for a lifetime antivirus. They say a third party was responsible but they are out of bussiness now. so my lifetime antivirus is no longer active w/o paying a yearly fee. That is " bull "They take no responsibilty for their software. Thay should be responsible when a vendor of their is selling their product and never mentions any third party.I was always led to believe they were the providers. How deceptive is that!!!!!
after running this program i ran a full scan with mcafee because while it was downloading new files it was downloading viruses and trojans that my mcafee picked up on , when i rebooted it installed the same viruses and trojans , make sure you run a full scan after it has finished doing what it does
It certainly put my PC back in tip-top shape after being plagued with the infamous blue screen of increasing frequency. Some things to consider. 1) I noticed that after I used it to repair damaged/incomplete files and download missing files, that Windows XP suddenly had a bunch of updates, upwards of 50. So not sure whether Windows is using older files it considers to be current or if Reimage doesn't really have the most up-to-date repository of files. 2) The report could be more useful by providing an indication of whether a file was missing or replaced, plus a date/time stamp from the file on the PC and from the replacement file. 3) It is not known whether the check for malware and all that stuff is using up-to-date information or a canned set of information that is not kept current. Because of that, I still use McAfee (have some issues with this too but that's another story) and Registry Medic. Regardless, this is a better product than any of the other so called PC Fix-it type products that I have used in the past.
Been using for a couple of years. Does a great job. The license use to allow limited uses. Now the repair can be run unlimited uses for up to 1 year.
reimage will not refund money
I called and asked for a refund, they passed me around to five people in India and I could not understand them they wanted remote control of my computer and I said no , I told them I wanted a refund they hung up on me.
don't bet on it
Found this while searching for fixes for a specific issue, which this did not resolve. However, the registry seems intact. Full run fix took 8 hours, far greater than the 1 hour on their popup window. While rounding back, since this did not resolve the original purchase intent, with customer service, I'm now told they must remotely access the machine.
Reimage Review - DO NOT BUY IT - SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT
This sit the second year I paid for and downloaded Reimage.
They indicated it will take about one hour. It took me nearly three hours to download 82% of the software. OI had to stop, since I ran out of time. I tried a second time, no better and again a third time, worse.
I sent a message to their after sales support. All I received was an acknowledgement and a ticket number. That was on Nov 26, 2014. Despite three more reminders on my part, there has been NO RESPONSE from their support group.
I telephoned the company ans was kept waiting on the line for 35 minuted without anyone answering.
DO NOT BUY THE PRODUCT. Their service is like LinkedIn, where Jeff Weiner and his crew they are the be all and end all to business social media and don't have to respond t their usets' queries and issues.
Both disgusting and despicable companies where hubris reigns supreme.
I am sending message to all computer web sites advising them of Reimages' disinterest in helping their paid users. If I was in the US, I would sue them. Unfortunately, being in China, it's impossible.
After I paid and got the license # I ran a scan. Scan complete, "Repair system" . A window opened selling the license again. It said "Expired"! Chatted with support and got a new #. That worked. A week later I ran the scan again... same problem.
During normal surfing it popped up in a new window and said "3 viruses found! Run a scan". and then the hype about the expired license and buy it again.
Having used Paypal, I initiated the resolution process. Waiting for results within 20 days.
Almost as bad as the old PC Doctor malware. Removed with Revo uninstaller.
Reimage THUMBS DOWN
I have Norton Security installed and i was getting messages from Norton indicating the Reimage was a serious threat and then deleted the product after speaking with the Norton support people. Be carefull because once enrolled they will bill you annually even though you have cancelled the product thru Reimage ! ! It is a circus trying to get the automatic billing blocked . The product when installed appears to be doing good stuff but every situation is way OVER dramatized to make it seem that Reimage is the great saviour when it prob is doing NOTHING
Warning, horrible tech support
Reimage did a fair job of replacing some missing files, but after about a week I started having other problems, like not being able to load and run an Active X. Then I started getting error messages that my CPU usuage was extremely high. When I contacted Tech Support they wanted to remotely hook up to my computer and check it out. Fine I said, but it took almost 2 weeks for them to schedule a time, then tech was foreign and was late calling in. He didn't seem to know what I was talking about. He did fix one thing by changing the configuration of IE. From there it went downhill and I finally disconnected. Not one word back from them asking if I was satified or not. I don't recommend this to anyone.
NEVER USE THIS COMPANY
paid over £100 for this what a con didn't fix anything' but in the 3 weeks i have had it i have been hacked 3 times and had 3 fraudulent actions on my pay pal account (i have never been hacked in 21 years until now) i would advice anyone never to trust this company DO SO AT YOU PERIL
Avoid this and you will not be scamed.
Very smooth talkers. Became obvious that the outfit was not for real. I doubt it I get my $41 back.
I had problems with MS Word 2016 freezing, disappearing/returning. Reimage scanned my PC ($39.95) and reported Trojans/viruses. Paid $99.99 for fix as I need my PC to edit for my job. Result?
1st attempt - didn't fix - also 2nd attempt didn't fix. Next day, 3rd attempt - same result - except now I have TWO users on my PC - myself and Owner. Myself has no docs. Owner has no bookmarks (which I need). Disputed payment with credit card company. Called Reimage to discuss with Finance Dept. Said they would call back. They didn't. Several hours spent on phone. $140 spent trying to fix PC. Don't believe I had any Trojans/viruses - they just tell you that to upsell the service. Also try to upsell 1-2 year service. I feel stupid at being conned by these people, but PC World and others recommend them! I hope I can get a refund. They guarantee for 7 days. I'm going to call every day if I can find the time an am able to deal with the total frustration.
I could not possibly recommend this
I have asked for my money back - but all I get is emails from the Support Centre saying that if I do not reply within 72 hours - they will consider the case satisfactorily closed.
I have 3 discrete computers; 2 desktop and 1 laptop. I paid for 3 licenses, downloaded the program and ran it first on my laptop. Took an hour and seemed to be doing its righteous thing. Rebooted and then MS informed me I have 9 important updates to install on my Win 7 Professional system. Downloaded and installed these updates over and over and over ad nauseum. But even though they say they are installed, they aren't. The 'Control Panel' Update portion always fails to run and the other 'Taskbar'
notification is the only one that will, over and over again. Called the support line and eventually got through to a 'Service Rep' and we looked at a lot of stuff and then she told me I needed to speak with
a technician who would have to do manual intervention for $245, $590 or $1495 to "fix" MY problems.
Problems which NEVER occurred BEFORE I ran Reimage. Eventually we have agreed that they will refund my purchase price and they were unconcerned about any reviews I might write because they are such a big company. Their rating system does not contain zero`s or negative numbers because that is what I would assign their support and service.
I had problems with my Microsoft Outlook 2010, I took a chance with reimage repair but I still have the same problem. I would not recommend it.
Wanted just a trial version (Free) but they gave a full 3 hour load version and at the end ask for money to run program. Then all night and all day and it still will not uninstall. They will do what ever to get your money. Run away
Reimage PC Repair -destroyed my computer!
After spending over 40 minutes analyzing my computer the screen pops up with an explanation that it needs to reboot my computer into the "SAFE" mode to inspect it some more . It asks to do so and I made the mistake of clicking on "YES " this then rebooted my computer and instead of me having the choice as to how the computer would start up the REIMAGE software had changed my system to bootup to SAFE only and then it never made it to WINDOWS it just went to a black screen with no boot at all !! SO I now had a computer that would no longer boot to windows - just a black screen !!!
I have windows 7 and
had to go out and buy another computer - unfortunately with windows 10 which is also useless !!!!
I also had to buy recovery soft ware to try and save all my files . BTW the reimage software will run for many minutes just to make you think it is really doing a good job !!!!! When in fact I bet it only takes less than a few minutes to actually scan for viruses ! SAve your money this program cost me hundreds of dollars as I had to get a new computer that was not destroyed by their software - JUNK
